Join the journey: Your voice shapes our progress!

The Chamber of Commerce team leading on the Devon & Somerset Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) have started collating information for an annual Progress Report.

The report will be sent to the Department for Education and will be published for local employers, stakeholders and providers to see how the local skills system has responded to the recommendations featured in the LSIP report published in August 2023.

We are in the process of implementing our priorities that we highlighted in the first report and are asking for your feedback once more.

One of our priorities is to make sure that our information is current and relevant. This involves us asking you, South West employers, for your thoughts and input, as well as any challenges you might be having.

We want to hear if you have accessed any new training or been involved in engagement groups with providers.

Perhaps you have used courses, taken on an apprentice on a programme you’ve not used before, taken on a T Level or other industry placement, accessed or recruited from a Skills Bootcamp, joined an sector-based skills group, or been involved with any other new skills activity.

To share your experience with us, please complete our Phase 2 Employer Survey.

Thank you for your input and time, and if you have any questions, drop us an email at
